2023, Taikai 550kV8000A GIS have been successfully applied in the expansion projects of Huilong and Dieling in Guangdong, achieving one-time withstand voltage and one-time power transmission success, once again demonstrating Taikai's strong strength in the field of ultra-high voltage and large capacity combined electrical appliances.

The comprehensive performance of Taikai 550kV 8000A GIS has reached the international advanced level, and the flow capacity has reached the international leading level of similar products. It has passed the new product (technology) appraisal organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation and has become one of the few manufacturers in the world with the ability to develop and manufacture 500kV large capacity products.

The goal of rated current of 550kV GIS from 6300A to 8000A has been achieved. We will continue to embark on a new journey, write new brilliance in the field of breaking larger short-circuit currents, and contribute Taikai strength to the construction of the world new power system!
